Phase 01

Spiritual & Physical Preparation

Before you leave home, the journey begins in the heart. Proper preparation ensures you can focus entirely on your worship.

Sincere Intentions (Niyyah)

Purify your heart and make the intention solely for the sake of Allah. Seek forgiveness from others before you depart.

Physical Fitness

Hajj requires significant walking. Start a walking routine 4-6 weeks before departure to build stamina.

Knowledge & Learning

Study the rites of Hajj and Umrah. Attend our official training workshops or watch our video series.

Pack your Ihram in your carry-on bag, as you may need to change before reaching Jeddah.

Phase 02

The 6 Days of Hajj

Follow the chronological steps of the Hajj rituals as performed by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

8th Dhul Hijjah

Mina: The City of Tents

Pilgrims put on Ihram and travel to Mina. They stay in tents, praying and preparing for the following day.

Mina: The City of Tents

Spend the five prayers (Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, and Fajr) in Mina. No specific rituals are required today other than remaining in Mina.

Ritual Requirement

Enter Ihram from your hotel or place of stay.

9th Dhul Hijjah

Arafah & Muzdalifah

The most important day of Hajj. Pilgrims stand on the plains of Arafah from noon until sunset, engaged in deep prayer.

Arafah & Muzdalifah

From sunrise to sunset, stay in Arafat. After sunset, proceed to Muzdalifah to spend the night and collect pebbles.

Ritual Requirement

Standing (Wuquf) in Arafah and overnight in Muzdalifah.

10th Dhul Hijjah

Eid Al-Adha Rituals

The Day of Eid. Rituals include stoning Jamarat al-Aqabah, sacrificing an animal, and shaving or cutting hair.

Eid Al-Adha Rituals

Stoning Jamrat al-Aqaba, performing the animal sacrifice, shaving/cutting hair, and Tawaf al-Ifadah.

Ritual Requirement

At least three of the four rituals must be completed today.

Is Hajj mandatory for every Muslim?

Yes, Hajj is mandatory at least once in a lifetime for every adult Muslim who is physically healthy, financially capable, and has safe access to the journey.

What is the difference between Hajj and Umrah?

Hajj is performed during a specific time (8th-13th Dhul Hijjah) and includes standing at Arafah. Umrah can be performed at any time and only involves Tawaaf, Sa'yi, and cutting hair.

Are there special requirements for women?

Women generally require a Mahram (male relative). However, some contemporary scholars permit women to travel in a trustworthy group of other women for their first mandatory Hajj.
